ECOFUNCO final event - 1st Conference on Green Chemistry to be held in Pisa next June

On the occasion of the closing of the EU-funded project ECOFUNCO, the 17 partners are organising the final event and 1st Conference on Green Chemistry. The event will take place in Pisa, Italy, next June, in a hybrid modality.
ECOFUNCO is a European research project which is developing new bio-based coatings for plastic and cellulosic substrates. During the final event, the partners will present the main results obtained during the project.
Attending the conference is free of charge and it is open to everyone. The agenda will be published soon.
Call for abstracts
In order to pass on the legacy of the project, the partners opened the participation to researchers working on the topics covered by the conference:
- Materials from renewable resources, extraction, functionalisation, valorisation
- Sustainable and performing coatings, organic and hybrids
- Biodegradability, recyclability, sustainability, safety and ethics
- Packaging with enhanced barrier to gas and moisture, active packaging
- Health care and cosmetics applications, electrospinning technology
The scientific committee will evaluate articles and posters to be presented during the event.
The submission is open until 1 May 2022 and it is free of charge.
