Girl Power

This picture shows young women professionals working in the optics laboratory at IRIS (ECOFUNCO Partner) in Cornellá del Llobregat, Spain. ECOFUNCO sees many young women scientists actively participating in the research, thus reaching not only the goal of developing bio-based coatings, but also being a model for women in science. In ECOFUNCO, the IRIS technical teams are involved in functional characterization of films and development of optical techniques to study the distribution of coatings on bioplastics and paper substrates.
